June 12 - 16, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Welcome to St. Andrew’s Children’s Ministry! Like Jesus, we cherish and love children. We also know childhood is a crucial time for faith development. Please accept our warm invitation for your kids to join us for a host of exciting, fun and purposeful Christ-centered activities throughout the year.
For questions about SAPC Kids, our Children’s Discipleship Ministry, please contact our Director, Heather Brannock, by email at hbrannock@sapctucson.org, or at the Church Office (520-297-7201, ext 233).
Summer Sunday School starts on May 21. Summer Sunday school will be during the 9:00 am service only. Children entering kindergarten through entering fifth grade will be in a large group format in Room F and preschool children (ages 3-4) will be in Room C in a traditional Sunday school format. Children will go to the class according to the grade that they will be starting in the fall.
The choir will not meet June & July.
The St. Andrew’s Children’s Choir provides a fun and creative way to get children excited about singing! Our program is led by Kylie Shelton.
Rehearsals are Sunday Mornings from 10:30 am – 11:15 am in Room F (lower level of the SW campus).
All children ages 4 years – 5th grade are invited to join.
Sunday School is a very important part of our children’s ministry. We are gifted with wonderful and loving teachers, assistant teachers and staff who love the LORD and love children.
Sunday School is offered for children ages 2 (by September 1, 2022) through 5th grade during the 9:00 am services in the lower level below the Sanctuary on the SW campus.
At the 9:00 am Service, children begin the service with their parents in worship, and are invited to go downstairs to attend Sunday School after the Children’s Message time.
Sunday School is offered during our 10:45 am Service for children in kindergarten- 5th grade. Children may go immediately to their classroom prior to the start of the service.
Nursery Care is provided downstairs as well. There is a comfort room located in the back of the Sanctuary if your infant needs comforting during the worship service.
Contact Heather Brannock at hbrannock@sapctucson.org if you have any questions.

Paused for the Summer (June-July)
Fourth and fifth graders are special kids. They’re not quite old enough for Youth Ministry, but they like to do some of the same things as teens. So, we’ve created a club just for them. They call themselves the “Holy Molies.” They meet in Room F on the third Wednesdays of the month from 6:00–8:00 p.m. They always eat dinner together. Then after a short but powerful Bible study, they play crazy games. After that they do some type of mission/service project.
Holy Molies are encouraged to bring fourth and fifth grade friends from their neighborhood or school. Director Heather Brannock is the leader of the group, but parent volunteers are needed each meeting to help with dinner and games. Look for monthly reminder emails or below to find out themes and special activities.
March 22: God understands when you’re misunderstood
April 19: God will help you when have doubts
May 17: Pool Party and Potluck
Super Friends is the special needs ministry at St. Andrew’s. We invite families with children with special needs to attend a parent support group. Some of these families are outside of our St. Andrew’s community. We will be meet once a month in Sunday School Rooms from 10:30 am to 11:15 am.
Durning the summer months, Super Friends invites you to join us in our summertime activities! These activities are open to everyone in the St. Andrew’s community. All activities will take place in the afternoons. Look for more information coming as we get closer to the events.
Contact Heather at hbrannock@sapctucson.org for more information.
For Sunday Mornings: Childcare is provided all morning on the SW campus for the 9:00 Contemporary and 10:45 Traditional Worship Services. Currently, we do not have childcare at the 7:30 service, but if you would like to make arrangements, please email Anita at adegnan@sapctucson.org .
Throughout the week: Childcare is available by request for any Church-related event on the church campus. This includes Bible Studies, Small Groups, Choir and Orchestra rehearsals, meetings and classes as needed & requested. Care is provided for many special programs, concerts and holiday worship services throughout the year.
For reservations and information, call Anita Degnan, the Childcare Supervisor, at adegnan@sapctucson.org. Reservations help us to adequately staff the childcare. Cancellations are needed if your plans change to help the church avoid unnecessary childcare expenses. Sign-up sheets are available for holiday services at the nursery in room L or in the Sunday School classes.
