Candidate Sunday

Our Pastor Nominating Committee has recommended a candidate to be the next Pastor and Head of Staff of SAPC and the Session has called a Congregational Meeting. What does this mean? We now have a Pastor Elect! “Candidate Sunday” will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 when the candidate will preach at a special 10:00 am Worship Service. There will only be one service at 10:00 am on January 28. Following worship, the PNC will present our nominee to the congregation at a Congregational Meeting to Approve the Candidate.

Due to sensitivity in job transitions, we ask for patience as information about the candidate will be provided on Sunday, January 28, prior to the service.

*Service will be livestreamed, but only in person attendees may participate in the meeting.
