HUGS
Every Wednesday at 10:30 am | Friendship Hall, NE campus
HUGS—Happily Under God’s Supervision—is an outreach program at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church that offers FELLOWSHIP, FUN, and FOOD for senior adults in northwest Tucson. The program has been a part of St. Andrew’s since the 1970s. Currently our weekly attendance ranges from 20-30 members.
We meet Wednesday mornings from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM in Friendship Hall on our NE campus. A short devotion is given by a pastor or a volunteer, and our programs consist of informative speakers, musical groups, Bingo, and games. Lunch is provided for $5. Several times a month our preschool children entertain us with songs and twice a year they participate in activities with us. A Parish Nurse is on site to give blood pressure checks.
You can help our HUGS ministry continue to be a blessing to our community by inviting a neighbor who could use extra fellowship, joining our volunteer team, or simply lifting up our seniors and leaders in prayer. Whether you come to participate, serve, or connect, we would love to have you with us on Wednesday mornings.
