More Than A Bed More Than a Bed (MTaB) is a foster, adoptive, and kinship resource center. We support the families and the children in their homes by providing for practical needs: twin beds, cribs, toddler beds, clothes, toys, shoes, diapers, linens etc. We believe that every child deserves to feel valued, to be safe, and have the opportunity to thrive. MTaB was founded September 2014 by serving five families with toys and clothes. In 2018, we served 720 families (2100 children) and continue to grow at a rate of 30 new families per month. Tucson Refugee Ministry International Kids Camp Our annual International Kids Camp starts on Tuesday, June 7, and there are a few volunteer positions that we need to fill ASAP! Can you help? 2 Camp Drivers- Drivers are given a route of campers to drive to and from camp. 3 Driving Assistants- Driving assistants help take attendance, get children safely in the vehicle, and keep children well-behaved during the route. 2 Camp Counselors- Counselors look after a group of 6-8 campers as they go to each camp activity. Backpack and School Supplies Drive

Backpack & School Supplies Drive We will collect BACKPACKS and SCHOOL SUPPLIES in July for the children at Gospel Rescue Mission, the Karenni children tutored by St Andrew’s members, Fost/adopt (a new mission partner) and one of the refugee agencies. Needed: colored pencils, highlighters, crayons, college rule paper, etc. If you don’t know what to buy ask your children/grandchildren or write a check with backpacks in the memo line. Questions? Laguna Elementary

Laguna Elementary We have been asked to participate with Laguna Elementary School for the United Way's Days of Caring, October 21-22. The principal, Alan Schmidt, is expecting many volunteers but needs help with some items that will help the event run smoothly. Blessing Bags

Blessing Bags We fill gallon bags for distribution to those who are homeless and in need of water, snacks and toiletries.  We also fill quart bags with toiletries for distribution at the Southside Presbyterian feeding program.
