Every other week, the children join our music teacher, Alice Pringle, and her special friend, Dr. Riley, for songs, stories, instrument exploration, listening games, rhythmic exercise and creative movement. These activities help build self esteem, listening skills and body awareness, as well as foster cooperation and creative expression. Parents are welcome to visit this fun part of our school program!
Students enrolled in our 2s classes spend 15 minutes each week with our Spanish resource teacher, Señora Q. Students in our 3s, 4s and K classes have Spanish class every other week for 30 mintues. All students are introduced to some basic Spanish vocabulary and Latin culture through activities, songs, books, games, and conversation.
Once each month, classes visit our chapel for short, non-denominational, child-friendly worship services. Simple Bible stories, songs and fingerplays help our little ones grasp God’s love for them. Parents are always welcome to attend chapel with us!
