Christmas Mission Projects

SAPC participates in many mission opportunities at Christmas and throughout the year. Learn more below about our three highlighted projects – Adopt a Family and Operation Christmas Child.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

FILL A SHOEBOX! It’s time for Operation Christmas Child! Boxes and labels will be available to pick up before and after Worship Services on October 24. We will collect boxes on October 31 and November 7. Boxes can also be dropped of at the Church Office. Fill your boxes with items like school supplies, stuffed animals, hats, balls, t-shirts, hair accessories, etc. They love to have letters and pictures too! Please do not include any food or liquids. You can also build boxes online for $25. Check out samaratinpurse.org/occ for more information.

ADOPT A FAMILY

We are embarking on the 36th year of Adopt a Family at St. Andrew’s. There are many ways you can participate in Adopt a Family. You/your family and friends, your small group, can adopt an entire family. This means you would shop for and deliver gifts to the family. You can contribute financially and the funds will be used to purchase items. You can pick up individual ornaments from the table and bring them back no later than December 12. We will also need people to assist with delivering. If you would like to be involved in any of these ways please email Kristin Enger at kcenger@gmail.com.
