Memorial Services At St. Andrew’s
As Christ followers, we affirm that “neither death, nor life….nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 NRSV
Memorial or funeral (closed casket) services at SAPC are conducted in the context of worship and presided over by a pastor, in consultation with the family. Families may choose either a traditional or contemporary style of music, either of which give Witness to the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If desired, families may prepare DVDs of photographs to be presented before or during the service, or immediately following at the memorial reception. A memory table creates a personal touch and invites conversation and memories for guests to share with grieving families.
Honorariums for the pastor and musicians are customary. There is also a nominal fee for Audio/Visual Support which varies according to the campus where the service will be held. A guest book may be purchased through the church. Flower arrangements are provided by the family.
