What can I expect when I arrive at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church?

We are so excited to spend a Sunday morning with you! We have three services to choose from:

7:30 am Weekly Communion Service – Chapel/NE corner

            9:00 am Contemporary Service – Sanctuary/SW corner

            10:45 am Traditional Service – Sanctuary/SW corner

We are big believers that our physical walls do not define the Church. That’s why four Sundays a year we have Service Worship where we leave the friendly confines of St. Andrew’s and venture out and serve our community—here is the link to get dates and learn more.

Where should I park?

If you are attending the 7:30 am service it is best to park on the north campus (near the Chapel) in the north parking lot or in the parking lot along Paseo del Norte. There are handicap spaces available in the north parking lot if you need them.

If you are attending the 9:00 or 10:45 am services it is best to park on the south campus (next to the Sanctuary) in the west parking lot. There are a few visitor spaces on the north side of the Sanctuary, and several handicap spaces on the west side of the Sanctuary.

Where do I go if I have a question or need more information?

Ushers and Greeters would love to help answer questions or direct you to where to find them. There is always someone at our welcome table located just inside the west doors or look for the receptionist who is available at the Information Center on the SW Campus.  If you are still unsure, feel free to find any of these friendly faces on a Sunday Morning and they will make sure to get you the information you need!

What should I wear?

You are welcome to come as you are to any of our services. In each of our services you will see people in suits and ties to shorts and t-shirts, dress shoes and high heels to flip-flops.

How do I find a Sunday class or a class/activity during the week?

St. Andrew’s offers things for all ages:

Children ages 2 through 5th grade — contact Shelly Akins, our Children’s Ministry Director

Youth 6th—12th grades —contact Tim Christian, our Youth Ministry Director

Adults — contact Connie Randall, our Adult Ministries Director

Where should I take my children or youth?

Children's Sunday School is offered for children ages 2 (as of September 1, 2017) through 5th grade during the 9:00 and 10:45 am services in the lower level below the Sanctuary on the SW campus. At
9:00 am, children begin the service with their parents in worship, and are invited to go downstairs to attend Sunday School after the Children’s Message. Sunday School ends at 10:15 am. For the 10:45 am service, please bring your children to their classrooms before the service begins.

Nursery care is provided downstairs as well. There is a comfort room located in the back of the Sanctuary if your infant needs comforting during the worship service.

Youth are invited to attend worship at any of the three services. Many youth choose to attend the 9:00 am worship service and then go to Youth Sunday School at 10:45 am, which is held in the Boondocks (lower level of Westminster Hall) on the NE campus.

How can I meet people before or after the worship service?

You are welcome to come early to worship, or stay after worship on the patio after 7:30 am worship service, or in the Gathering Place (adjacent to the Sanctuary) after the 9:00 or 10:45 am worship services. We hope you will meet new friends, enjoy a cup of coffee and some goodies, and learn more about what is going on in the life of St. Andrew’s!

Interested in learning how to become a member of St. Andrew’s?

Several times throughout the year we offer classes about what it means to be a part of the life of St. Andrew’s. The pastors and other members of the congregation lead these informal classes. We will talk about our mission, core values, what a Presbyterian is, and about how our own personal stories have brought us together. As we share time and a meal together, we will also discuss how we can get further involved in the life of the church. Everyone is welcome!! Just check our website for updates or call the church office to register for our next class: 297-7201.
