Fellowship for Senior Adults
Senior Singles Fellowship
Are you a single senior and looking to meet others at St. Andrew's? We launched a new ministry in 2015 for 50 years or older to include widows & widowers, divorced, and never married singles. Fun activities and opportunities for Christian friendships are being planned. (This is not a dating service).
Please watch the Weekly News for more upcoming monthly gatherings.
HUGS (Happily Under God's Supervision)
HUGS, our non-denominational senior outreach ministry kicks off in September and concludes in April. HUGS offers socialization, stimulation, and a wholesome environment for senior adults living with family members, alone, or in residential care facilities in the Northwest region of Tucson. Our facilities on the Northeast campus accommodate wheelchairs and walkers, but participants must be capable of taking care of their personal physical needs. We gather at 10:15 am and our morning fun ends at 12:45 pm and includes a healthy lunch for only $3.00.
This ministry allows respite time for caregivers while their loved ones enjoy singing, devotions, games, educational programs, and occasional visits from our St. Andrew's Preschool/Kindergarten children. For more information, contact Bill Gross at 297-3495 or email@example.com, or Susan Lane at 297-4885 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

(YES) Young Energetic Seniors Fellowship
Our YES fellowship exists to cultivate and nurture relationships among the SAPC over 50s population. Potluck dinners are held on the third Monday of the month in Friendship Hall on the NE Campus, September—March, and begin at 5:30 pm with social time, followed by dinner and a speaker. Off site events are also planned throughout the year, such as a 4th of July picnic is celebrated in Pinetop.
YES is very happy to have Craig Reid, a docent from San Xavier Mission, joining us on March 19 to talk about one of the major 2015 projects of the Mission; restoring the statue of Mary that was high up in the altar. This is the first time it was removed from the altar in over 100 years. So come join us on March 19 at 5:30 pm, and bring your own table service and a potluck dish to share for our dinner.
